Antoine Griezmann has revealed the Championship club that he has been rebuilding on Football Manager.<\/p>\n
The Atletico Madrid star is a big fan of the series, previously telling Kylian Mbappe in a viral video that he signed the Paris Saint-Germain star for his Newcastle team.<\/p>\n
He is now working on rebuilding a former Premier League winning side as he looks to take them back to their former glory.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In an interview with ESPN, he revealed that he is managing Blackburn Rovers, where he will be hoping to replicate the success of Kenny Dalglish – who got them promoted to the Premier League before winning the title in 1995.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
He also revealed that his star signing was a Liverpool player, although, he couldn’t remember their name.<\/p>\n

Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he manages Blackburn Rovers on Football Manager, saying they sit sixth in the Championship and that ‘the board are very happy’ with his work<\/p>\n

The Atletico Madrid star is a big fan of Football Manager after previously talking about rebuilding Newcastle and Arsenal on previous editions of the game<\/p>\n

Griezmann said he signed a Scottish right-back from Liverpool, which fans quickly pointed out that it would be Calvin Ramsay – who has been sent out on loan to Preston this season<\/p>\n

After confirming that he manages Blackburn, he was asked on how he has been performing, to which he said: ‘I’m in the first division in sixth place.’<\/p>\n
When asked if there were any complaints from the board, he added: ‘The board are very happy, they want to renew my contract.’<\/p>\n
Finally asked who he has signed this season, he said: ‘A young right-back who was at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
‘He’s Scottish but I can’t remember the name.’<\/p>\n
Fans on social media have put the pieces of the puzzle together to figure out that Griezmann is talking about 20-year-old Calvin Ramsay.<\/p>\n
Ramsay has only recently returned to action after a lengthy injury lay-off, undergoing knee surgery at Liverpool last year.<\/p>\n
He was loaned out to Championship side Preston, where he has recently featured in their 4-0 loss to Middlesbrough, followed by a 2-0 defeat to QPR.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Griezmann previously revealed he won five trophies with Newcastle and signed Kylian Mbappe for \u00a3134m<\/p>\n
Griezmann though must feel that Ramsay is the man to help Blackburn achieve promotion to the Premier League.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Back in 2021, Griezmann was filmed as the France squad were mid-flight during their warm-up fixtures before Euro 2020.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
A smiling Griezmann was filmed by France’s social media channels, sitting next to former Barcelona team-mate Ousmane Dembele on the flight, while explaining how he had won five trophies with the Magpies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also showed off his 2019 Arsenal team which included Jordan Pickford and Chris Mepham<\/p>\n
