Jonny Evans has issued a vow of support for under-fire Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag by telling the club to stick with the Dutchman and support him with new recruits in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n
Pressure is mounting on Ten Hag to get results after United embarrassingly crashed out of the Champions League after losing to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
United suffered a humiliating run in Europe by becoming the first-ever English team to concede 15 goals in the Champions League group stage as they finished below Bayern, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.<\/p>\n
Evans played 50 minutes in the 1-0 midweek defeat at Old Trafford after Harry Maguire limped off injured and has called on Ten Hag to be given time this season while also admitting leaving European competition will give the manager more time to work with the squad.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Norwegian outlet FotbollSkanalen, Evans said: ‘He [Ten Hag] is a fantastic coach and I have no doubts about him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ten Hag’s future is likely to come under even more scrutiny when United travel to face Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.<\/p>\n
