Peter Crouch was spotted enjoying himself at the PDC World Darts Championship on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
The two-and-a-half-week event, which is held between December 15 and January 3,\u00a0has become one of British sport’s favourite times of the year.<\/p>\n
Fancy dress, plenty of chanting and multiple pints are the norm and ‘Ally Pally’ has seen packed out crowds over the first five days of the tournament.<\/p>\n
And on Tuesday, Crouch was among those in attendance alongside Chris Stark and Steve Sidwell, who he co-hosts the Peter Crouch podcast with.<\/p>\n
The former England, Tottenham and Portsmouth striker was seen taking photos with fans and dancing.<\/p>\n

Crouch delighted fans by downing a pint before placing his cup upside down on his head<\/p>\n

The former striker was also seen dancing along as adoring fans chanted ‘Crouchy’s on the p***’<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, footage also showed the popular 42-year-old downing a drink before placing his cup upside down on his head.<\/p>\n
Crouch was sitting in the VIP area of Alexandra Palace and was egged on by the crowd to finish his drink.<\/p>\n
After seeing it off, fans chanted: ‘Crouchy’s on the p***,’ before he lobbed his empty cup further into the crowd.<\/p>\n
His podcast colleagues Sidwell and Stark joined in, with former Fulham, Chelsea and Reading midfielder Sidwell similarly downing a drink.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, after losing a bet, Stark was forced to dance on stage with the event’s cheerleaders.<\/p>\n
The trio would have watched darts icon Michael van Gerwen book his place in the third round of the competition following a comfortable 3-0 victory over Keane Barry\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The highlight of the Dutchman’s victory was an impressive 167 checkout as he finished with an average of 98.17.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chris Stark and Steve Sidwell – who co-host the Peter Crouch podcast with Crouch – joined him<\/p>\n It’s All Kicking Off\u00a0is an exciting new podcast from Mail Sport that promises a different take on Premier League football, with a show every Monday and Thursday this season.<\/span><\/p>\n It is available on MailOnline, Mail+, YouTube , Apple Music and Spotify<\/span><\/p>\n Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n However, Van Gerwen insisted on stage that he wasn’t happy with his display as he said: ‘I’m a little disappointed with my scoring, the most important thing is I won my first game.<\/p>\n ‘You don’t want to let yourself down, you have to fight for every leg, and when things like the 167 work it gives you a great boost.<\/p>\n ‘It’s the first round of the World Championship no one wants to lose, there is pressure on me, like there is all the top boys.
