‘World’s most beautiful athlete’ seen behind the scenes with F1 team at Dutch GP

Dutch influencer Puck Moonen – who was once dubbed as the 'world's most beautiful athlete' – has been spotted behind the scenes with Williams Racing at the Circuit Zandvoort.

Zandvoort is the home of the Dutch GP, and the F1 circus rolled into town over the weekend, following a short break over the late summer months.

And ahead of Sunday's main event, Moonen shared an Instagram story, with her 740,000 followers, in the Williams garage. The stunner captioned the snap: "Always such a pleasure to be here, @WilliamsRacing!"

It's not the first time Moonen has been to the Dutch GP, she was also a guest of the team at the 2022 event – which was won by Max Verstappen.

In 2022, Moonen, who was once a budding cyclist, was invited to the Williams garage alongside two-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick.

After the event, Moonen said: "Endless thanks to @williamsracing for having us this weekend at the Dutch F1 Grand Prix in Zandvoort! Definitely the most fun bunch of people on the grid, and the atmosphere within the team was amazing!"

Moonen was once a hot property in the cycling world, and she earned a contract with Lotto-Soudal Ladies – a professional cycling team – but a knee injury caused her to leave the set-up in 2019.

While competing at the top of the sport, Moonen had juggled cycling with studying Chemistry and Natural Sciences at her local college, with hopes of becoming a doctor.

These days, Moonen has turned her attention away from the road – and she spends a lot of her time being a cycling influencer on social media. However, that doesn't mean Moonen doesn't race, and she took part in the inaugural UCI Gravel World Championships last September.

Williams had a strong qualifying session on Saturday afternoon, with both cars finishing inside the top ten at the Circuit Zandvoort.

Alex Albon will line up fourth on the gird, while Logan Sargeant became the first American to qualify within the top 10 for three decades – despite an accident ending his Q3 early.
