Lionel Messi’s wife called ‘queen’ for reaction to iShowSpeed’s selfie request

Lionel Messi's wife Antonela Roccuzzo was hailed for her reaction to a selfie request from iShowSpeed – but it seems as though he was asking the wrong person.

The viral superstar live-streamed the entire ceremony as he was seen joking with Emiliano Martinez, having an awkward moment with Josko Gvardiol and dancing along to the musical guest.

After the show ended, Speed could be seen pointing to his phone and asking for a photo in the general direction of who he believes to be Antonella, as three women had a conversation.

He tried and failed to get a response and said: "She's ignoring me bro… she's ignoring me. I just want to get a picture."

He then bowed his head to focus on meeting other famous faces closer to the stage, including Vini Jr and Jude Bellingham.

One reply simply said: "Queen." A second added: "Lionel Messi's wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, ignored Speed when he asked for a picture."

A third said: "What he expect when he constantly says s*** about Messi." A fourth agreed: "She’s definitely seen him slander Messi." But it didn't appear to be the right person at all.

Speed then shared a chat with Vini Jr who was pleased to see him, saying Brazil for life despite his love for Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.

Bellingham then thanked the American for his support as he left the venue after picking up the Kopa Trophy as the best player in the world under the age of 21.

Earlier in the evening Speed looked confused as Croatia international Gvardiol looked in his direction – and initially misheard him after being asked for a photo.

The picture was actually asked on behalf of Gvardiol's pal – with the 21-year-old providing the cameraman role as Speed chuckled after realising the innocence of the request.

One reply said: "Gvardiol asking speed for pics I'm crying." A second added: "No way Gvardiol asked to take a pic with speed."
