KSI’s bid to overturn his controversial defeat to Tommy Fury in October has been spurned.
The YouTuber-turned-puncher lodged an appeal with the Professional Boxing Association, who sanctioned the bout, but an independent review panel has denied his desires.
Fury beat KSI in Manchester by unanimous decision, although on the night it was incorrectly called as a majority decision.
He won despite having a point deducted for punching around the back of the head in their clash at the AO Arena in Manchester.
A statement from the PBA read: ‘The PBA confirms that an independent review panel, consisting of two of the country’s leading King’s Counsel and a third lawyer, has determined that there are no grounds to overturn the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight result from October 14, 2023.’

KSI was furious in the aftermath of the fight, saying: ‘Robbery, it’s a robbery. You weren’t landing, look at your face. Look at you. I’m the YouTuber and you’re the boxer, you have to win.’
He told DAZN: ‘I understand the Fury name. I won it. It’s outrageous. Minus a point as well. I landed the cleanest shots. He couldn’t get any jabs off.
After being penalised, Fury claimed that KSI was not similarly cautioned for clinching during their fight.
‘I thought it was ridiculous,’ he said. ‘In the professional fights, proper fights, you’re meant to have a couple of offences. The first time I did it, bang, a point off.
‘But he didn’t get a point off for holding all the fight. What’s that about?’
The 24-year-old victor threw more punches, and landed more shots, but KSI was more accurate with his punches, landing with 31% of his attempts, as opposed to Fury’s 25%.
