Casper Ruud left tennis fans gobsmacked after he produced a stunning 'tweener lob' against Alexander Bublik that had him grinning from ear to ear.
Facing off against Bublik at the Swiss Indoors in Basel, Ruud took the first set 7-6 (5) and looked to be in good form at the ATP 500 event. And in the first game of the second set, that was when Ruud produced the stunning shot that had social media fans with their jaws on the floor.
A deft shot down the line from Bublik sent Ruud scurrying away to the back of the court, with relatively little he could do when it came to shot selection in order to return the Kazakh's shot. However, quick thinking saw Ruud reach the ball, before playing a tweener shot between his legs that lobbed Bublik entirely.

So impressive was the shot, Bublik could do nothing but turnaround to face Rudd afterwards and just stare at his opponent who himself, looked shocked. Bublik also raised his hand as if to say to Ruud 'fair play', while the Norwegian, who is ranked eighth in the world right now, just smiled almost apologetically.
He then asked the crowd to make some noise too before Bublik's next serve. Ruud would go on to win the match in straight sets, 7-6 (5), 6-2. He also reposted a video of the shot on social media, writing: "Might as well play the lottery tonight."
