The Cleveland Browns are signing running back Kareem Hunt to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Wednesday, per sources. The team has since announced the addition.
The move comes two days after starting RB Nick Chubb was lost for the year with a serious knee injury. Chubb was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Wednesday.
Hunt’s signing is a reunion for the RB, who spent the last four years in Cleveland.
