Two NFL power couples collided on Sunday night, when Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens escaped punishment for an apparent push on Travis Kelce on the final play of Kansas City’s defeat by the Green Bay Packers – as Taylor Swift watched on from the stands.
With time running out and the Chiefs trailing 27-19, quarterback Patrick Mahomes dropped back to heave a Hail Mary towards the endzone.
Kelce was among his intended targets but the Chiefs tight end appeared to be on the receiving end of a two-handed push in the back from Packers safety Owens.
Only moments later, Kelce also appeared to be pulled down by his arm by Packers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell.
But no flag was thrown for either incident as the ball was knocked down and Green Bay’s victory was secured.

Both players’ superstar significant others were in attendance for the Sunday night game
Some fans in Green Bay held up signs to show they were there to support Biles instead of Swift
Both Owens and Kelce had their superstar significant others in attendance – Swift watched the game alongside Brittany Mahomes, while gymnast Biles was rooting on Owens and the Packers.
Fans in Green Bay had some fun at the expense of the dueling power couples, with some holding up signs to say that they were there to see Biles and not Swift.
After the game ended, broadcasters debated whether there should have been a flag for the contact on the play. But it is not uncommon for pass interference calls to be avoided on a Hail Mary.
Kelce finished the game as the Chiefs’ leader in yards after hauling in four passes for 81 yards.

This was the fifth time Swift has been in the stands and the first time she has seen a loss
The eight-time Pro Bowl TE did not lead the team in receptions, however – that honor belonged to Chiefs rookie WR Rashee Rice who finished the game with eight catches for 64 yards.
Owens, on the other hand, ended the night tied for third in tackles for the Packers after recording five during the game.
The non-call involving Owens and Kelce was not the only decision by referees that was questioned by the Chiefs and their fans.
Minutes earlier, the team called for a pass interference call earlier in the drive following a long incompletion to WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
