Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were given a heroes welcome at Red Bull’s Milton Keynes headquarters on Wednesday as they returned to celebrate their Formula One success with the rest of their team.
Verstappen stormed to his third consecutive driver’s world championship title last season, dominating the field by winning 19 out of 22 races while Red Bull also claimed the constructors championship.
It was a more difficult campaign for Perez who started the season brightly before struggling to regain his previous form, but still managing to finish runner-up in the championship standings behind Verstappen.
Red Bull’s continued stranglehold on F1 was celebrated by the garage’s wider team at their UK base, with the pair enjoying a deserved homecoming.
Team principal Christian Horner was also present and joined in the celebrations that featured a motorcycle display, branded Hummers, team pictures and plenty of champagne spray.

Verstappen is Red Bull’s jewel and was the individual highlight of the afternoon as thousands gathered to revel in a deserved party atmosphere.
The duo arrived on a Red Bull branded 4×4 with the road leading up to the team’s luxury HQ building lined with delighted staff who had contributed to the season success.

An acrobatic motorcycle display took place as Perez and Verstappen arrived in Milton Keynes
An acrobatic motorcycle display drove ahead of the car carrying both Verstappen and Perez, wheelieing and performing various impressive stunts.
Horner was waiting for the pair to get down from the vehicle and embraced both upon arrival as cheers echoed around the venue.
Verstappen and Perez posed for pictures with Horner and other staff members before heading inside where they were further welcomed by one of their championship-winning cars along with every trophy they had won during the season.
A huge photoshoot also took place with Verstappen, Perez, Horner and all staff members present joining in and holding scarves inscribed with ‘champions’ up to the sky.
