Manuel Locatelli’s deflected strike proved to be decisive as Juventus beat AC Milan 1-0 away in Serie A.

Milan started the much brighter side and threatened early on, however the tide turned when Malik Thiaw was sent off for a last ditch challenge on Moise Kean.

Juventus started to dominate as Milan were reduced to 10 men, but it was not until midway through the second half that they got the breakthrough.

Former Milan midfilder Locatelli saw his strike take a heavy deflection and fly past Milan keeper Antonio Mirante.

It is a blow for Milan to lose against direct rivals, as they prepare to take on PSG in the Champions League in midweek.
