Adult website offers Man Utd kit issue solution – as they ‘know about comfort’

An adult website has offered to be Manchester United’s answer to their embarrassing kit problem – claiming they ‘know a thing about comfort’

It emerged this week that Erik ten Hag’s side have been playing in replica kit that can be bought off the shelves in the club store and sports shops around the country. It’s been reported the official Adidas kit is ‘too tight’ and has seen players resort to replica items while a solution is found.

But adult website My.Club have put their name forward to become the club’s solution to the kit embarrassment, as they look to make their first foray into kit sponsorship.

“Manchester United have had a pitiful start to their campaign and the last thing they need to deal with are complaints that their kits are too tight,” said Mike Ford, Vice President of My.Club.

“We here at My.Club know a thing or two about the importance of having comfortable socks. Our socks are cushioned and breathable. After all, it’s important that fashion and function go hand in hand. Send us an address via Twitter (@mydotclub) and they will be delivered ASAP.”

My.Club are said to be eager to penetrate the football world and reach a new audience of loyal fans and creators. The company has submitted several bids to be the kit sponsor for European football clubs, including Inter Milan and most recently Chelsea – who were delayed in confirming their main shirt sponsor at the beginning of the season after their deal with Three expired.

United have had issues regarding the socks being too tight around the calves, seeing players resort to cutting holes in the socks and even taking to wear replicas. Andre Onana is also said to have been affected with his shirt being too tight, making the switch to a looser replica option after United’s 2-1 win against Sheffield United.

It was reported by the Daily Mail that Adidas hope to have sorted the issue over the course of the next month. It means that United’s players will still be wearing their replica kit against Newcastle United on Wednesday night and forthcoming Premier League games.
