Ipswich Town supporter Ed Sheeran was sent into rapturous celebrations at Portman Road after the Tractor Boys' second half equaliser against their arch rivals Norwich City.
Facing off for the first time since February 2019, high flying Ipswich, who were only promoted from League One last term, played out a 2-2 draw against the Canaries. Ipswich struck first through Nathan Broadhead on 34 minutes, only to be pegged back immediately by Norwich's Jonathan Rowe.
With the scores level at half-time, Norwich then took the lead through Rowe, much to the dismay of the Portman Road faithful. However, on the hour mark, Wes Burns fired home a wonderful strike from outside of the box to equalise, which quickly changed the mood around the stadium.

Prior to the game, broadcast cameras were quick to spot rabid Ipswich supporter Sheeran wild in the stands, with one commentator even getting him mixed up with Olly Murs somehow.
And almost as soon as Burns celebrated by holding his arms aloft to the crowd, the cameras panned back to a delighted Sheeran, who was jumping up and down for joy with whomever he attended the game with.

The singer-songwriter looked to be having the time of his life, with the draw seeing Ipswich go level on points with Championship leaders Leicester City, who take on Birmingham City on Monday night in a game that will pit Wagatha Christie husbands Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy's sides up against each other.
Given that Ipswich have only just come up from League One, their performances in the Championship this term have been nothing short of spectacular. Under the guidance of former Manchester United coach Kieran McKenna, Ipswich have lost just twice in the league this season.

So good have their performances been this term, they currently sit 10 points clear of third placed Leeds United.
And when compared to the other teams they came up with, 18th placed Plymouth Argyle and bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday, it seems like it would be a miracle if the Tractor Boys did get promoted to the Premier League this season.
