There was nothing but bragging rights on the line on Tuesday evening, but that didn't stop a full-blooded encounter between old rivals England and Scotland.
The Three Lions landed the first blow, as Phil Foden turned the ball home from a Kyle Walker cross, before Jude Bellingham landed the right hook a few minutes later.
The Real Madrid superstar was superb, taking his club form to the international stage, as he curled the ball past Angus Gunn.
Even a Harry Maguire own goal couldn't stop the Bellingham party, and he danced around the Scottish defence to set up Harry Kane for England's third. And as Scotland lick their wounds, Daily Star Sport ranks the English performance in the 3-1 triumph.
AARON RAMSDALE 6
Had nothing to do in opening 45 minutes as Scotland failed to register a shot, little he could do for their goal in second half.
KYLE WALKER 7
Had a half chance early on that flashed wide, set up Foden for the opener.
LEWIS DUNK 7
Solid at the back, big header to take away a Scotland free-kick and made a big block in second half.
MARC GUEHI 7
Composed, made some good clearances, good on the ball too. Taken off at the break.
KIERAN TRIPPIER 6
On the left but didn’t look out of place as he ran the touchline but didn’t really threaten at Scotland end.

DECLAN RICE 7
Got stuck into Scott McTominay, picked some decent passes including in lead up to second goal.
KALVIN PHILLIPS 7
Had only played six minutes this season before last night, booked for late challenge, but done the dirty work well.
PHIL FODEN 8
First start since World Cup and overcame a sloppy start to score and really impress as he also had a hand in second. Top.
JUDE BELLINGHAM 9
Great run and cross to set up Walker chance then in the right place to get the second with a low finish. He was even better for Kane's goal Exceptional. Man of match.
MARCUS RASHFORD 8
Started the game strongly and excellent in build-up to England’s opener while also involved in second goal. Fine display.
HARRY KANE 8
Was dropping deep to influence the game by getting on the ball and made some nice passes rather than threatening in box. Also found the net.
