England manager Gareth Southgate has confirmed his squad for the final round of Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The Three Lions host Malta at Wembley next Friday. They then head off to North Macedonia on Monday, November 20.

As it stands in Group C, England are three points clear of Ukraine at the top of the table, having played a game less. While Italy trail Southgate's team by six points.

It's the boss' last chance until March to get a close look at his players. The next international break in four months' time will see England take on Brazil and Belgium in friendlies at Wembley.

Raheem Sterling, Reece James and Eberechi Eze have all missed out on the squad while fit-again Callum Wilson replaces the injured Eddie Nketiah. John Stones is not part of the squad with the Manchester City star having suffered an injury.

Aaron Ramsdale makes the 25-man squad even though the Arsenal goalkeeper has been dropped in favour of David Raya by Mikel Arteta. Nick Pope misses out.

There were fears for James Maddison and Bukayo Saka after both picked up knocks for their clubs last week, though the duo are included.

Kalvin Phillips, Jordan Henderson, and Harry Maguire are also part of the squad despite constant criticism from fans over their selections.
