Manchester City forward Erling Haaland is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his foot, according to reports.
Haaland has been absolutely pivotal ever since he arrived from Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old broke the Premier League record for most goals scored in a single season as Pep Guardiola's side went on to win the Treble.
However, it appears City, who went into their away clash against Luton Town in fourth position, may have to make do without him. It appears a nasty foot injury Haaland recently suffered may keep him out for some time.

According to Sky Sports, Haaland has been playing with a stress fracture in his foot for the past few weeks. It's understood he will finally be sidelined to allow time for it to recover.
There does not appear to be a timeframe for how long the Norwegian will be injured for. This was confirmed by Guardiola, who broke the bad news before his side's clash at Kenilworth Road.

When asked how long Haaland may be away for, the former Barcelona boss said: "I don't know. Week by week, day by day, we'll see what happens."
As well as Luton, City play Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, Crystal Palace, Everton and Sheffield United before 2024 begins. They will also be flying out to Jeddah to compete in the Club World Cup.
Haaland has hammered home 19 goals and five assists in 22 appearances in all competitions this season. He became the quickest player to reach 50 Premier League goals by reaching the incredible marker after only 48 matches.
City will not be too short in attacking options as Julian Alvarez is a fine replacement, while the likes of Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish have also starred as a so-called 'false nine' before.
