Football fans have been left fearing Everton’s stands at their new Bramley-Moore Dock home after footage showed how steep the upper-tier is.
Everton are set to move into the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium in 2024, possibly before or during the 2024/25 season as they prepare to say farewell to Goodison Park, which has been their home since 1892. Evertonians will be hoping that a new ground will bring new fortune for the club.
The 53,000-seater ground is a host stadium for Euro 2028 and has caused incredible excitement amongst Everton fans, given its state-of-the-art nature. And recent pictures showed it won’t be long until supporters will take to the terraces after seats were installed.

However, a picture of the upper-tier has gone viral after the incredibly steep stand caused concern on social media about the safety of supporters. Fans speculated that the steepness of the stand could see supporters lose balance and tumble down the rows in front of them.
One Blues fan said: “Think they've worked hard on making sure it feels like the fans are really close surrounding the pitch. Gonna be a special ground this.” A second added: “The first ever stadium to have a stand with a rock climbing wall”.

A third wrote: “Last minute winners could cause a few broken bones in there. Blimey.” While a fourth wrote: “Is that… safe? Celebrating a last minute winner and you end up in the stand below.” Everton will be hoping they will move into their new stadium as a Premier League club.
Victory at West Ham on Sunday moved them five points clear of the relegation zone with a third win in five games. But a 12 point deduction looms over the club for breaching financial regulations and, if applied, will see them drop to the bottom of the table.
