Erling Haaland has proved he is human, after the big Norwegian fluffed his lines from the penalty spot against Sheffield United.
The Blades had frustrated the Premier League champions at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon – before Manchester City were handed a golden opportunity to take the lead from the spot.
A Pep Guardiola-less City had worked the ball magnificently around the Sheffield defence, leading to Julian Alvarez bursting to the byline and attempting to cut the ball back to Haaland.
However, the ball never made it to Haaland, as John Egan's outstretched arm blocked the ball – leaving Jarred Gillett with no option but to point to the spot.

Haaland stepped up to take the penalty, and he sent Blades keeper Wes Foderingham the wrong way.
However, the big Norwegian was unable to get his shot on target, and it fired off the right-hand post away from the goal.

"It took over a season, but Erling Haaland finally proves he is human," one fan joked.
"Big lanky freak can’t do it in the big moments can he," a second joked. While a third added: "This isn’t even the best thing, it’s the Sheffield fans singing you’re just a s*** Billy Sharp!"
And another added: "They have to take him off penalties now surely!"
The Blades defenders had frustrated Haaland throughout the first half, and just minutes after he had fluffed his lines from the spot – Haaland was claiming for another penalty.
The City striker was wrestled to the ground by three Blades, but Gillett deemed he was giving as good as got. And the referee then had words with Haaland a couple of minutes later – who was complaining about the treatment he was receiving from the Sheffield defence.
