Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy was spotted hilariously punching himself in the face after he missed a sitter against Watford on Saturday.
The Foxes returned to winning ways against Watford after suffering back-to-back Championship defeats which allowed Ipswich Town to draw level on points with them at the top of the table before the international break.
Enzo Maresca’s side duly opened up the gap at the top of the table back to three points with their 2-0 win thanks to a double from Vardy before Ipswich travelled to West Brom on Sunday and suffered a 2-0 defeat.

However, the 36-year-old could’ve had himself a hat-trick after he spurned a golden chance after Stephy Mavididi burst down the wing and pulled a cross back to Vardy. But he was unable to sort his feet out and shanked a volley way over the bar.
Vardy fell off balance and put his head in his hands before he walked off and was spotted by cameras looking furious and punching himself in the face as he moped back to position ahead of the goal kick.

Fan also spotted Vardy’s frustration, as one called it “Vintage Jamie Vardy”, a second said: “There will never be another like Jamie Vardy.” With a third adding: “Many players need to do that to themselves.”
The former England international recovered brilliantly to score a brace in the final 15 minutes of the game, scoring his fifth and sixth Championship goal of the season and his first in almost two months.
Vardy has played in every league game this season and is on course to return the Foxes back to the top flight at the first time of asking after victory on Saturday opened up a 10-point gap to Leeds United in 3rd place.
