  • He was a guest of Genoa for their Serie A match against Milan on Saturday
  • DailyMail.com provides all the latest international sports news

Kanye West was a surprise guest of Italian soccer team Genoa for their league fixture against AC Milan on Saturday night.

And rather fittingly, the controversial American rap star was there to see a contentious, chaotic encounter between the two sides.

One day after Dailymail.com exclusively revealed that he is legally married to Bianca Censori – after secretly tying the knot with the Australian architect one month after his divorce with Kim Kardashian last year – Kanye was seen at Luigi Ferraris Stadium ahead of Genoa’s showdown with Serie A giants Milan.

As a guest of the home club, the 46-year-old was even presented with a jersey of his own as he greeted Genoa executives prior to kickoff.

He then watched on as Milan claimed a nail-biting 1-0 victory on a crazy night which saw two players sent off in stoppage time and French striker Olivier Giroud serve as a makeshift goalkeeper.

Intriguingly, Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian received a signed Milan jersey on the same day

The game took a chaotic turn when Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan saw red for a foul on Caleb Ekuban late in stoppage time, and Giroud was forced to take his spot in goal given the visitors had already made their five substitutions.

The former Chelsea and Arsenal man brilliantly denied George Puscas just before the final whistle as Christian Pulisic’s 87th-minute strike for Milan proved the difference between the two teams.

Intriguingly, Kardashian had shared a photo of a signed Milan jersey she had received on her Instagram story hours earlier.

It later emerged that USA international Pulisic had sent Kanye’s ex-wife the shirt before the game.

After the game in Genoa, Kanye posed for a photo alongside Milan and Portugal striker Rafael Leao, who shared the image on his Instagram story with the caption: ‘Legend’.

He has been in Italy with wife Bianca for several months, with the singer and songwriter seen flashing his gold wedding band in Milan after it was confirmed the pair legally married last year.

The confusion around their intriguing marriage has finally been explained after the pair were said to have wed under a ‘confidential marriage’ license in California, meaning that it was not made public record.

Many had assumed that the rapper and Yeezy architect, 28, married in a ceremony that was not legally binding, as there was seemingly no evidence of the union, with reports claiming they had a private ceremony in Beverly Hills earlier this year in January without an official marriage license.

However, DailyMail.com confirmed that is not the case, having obtained and reviewed the official document that lists their date of marriage as December 20, 2022 – just one month after he finalized his divorce from his first wife Kim Kardashian in November 2022.

Per their marriage license, the happy couple tied the knot in Palo Alto, California, known as Silicon Valley, and DailyMail.com has learned the pair picked a secret location for the special event.

The document was filed under their full names, Bianca Censori, and simply ‘Ye’ for the rapper, who legally changed his name from Kanye Omari West to the mononym in October 2021.

Kanye entered a coffee shop in Milan this week wearing a layered look with a short sleeve black T-shirt over a shirt with long sleeves. A wide gold band was clearly visible on his ring finger.
