Peter Crouch was a big fan of the food on offer at Luton's Kenilworth Road stadium – but fans thought the prices were ridiculous.
The former England striker was on punditry duty for TNT Sport as Tottenham extended their unbeaten start to eight matches following a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Hatters on Saturday. Ahead of the game, Crouch couldn't resist tucking into some BBQ chicken loaded fries – otherwise known as the 'Kenny Henny', and waxed lyrical about it online.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Crouch uploaded a lip-smacking photo of his meal, along with the caption: "Getting looked after at Luton today. Here’s the Kenny Henny special". Fans of his were left drooling by post – until they discovered how much it cost.

"Looks insane but £10 is outrageous," one X user responded. Another said: "Should never be more than £5 that. Game's gone." A third fumed: "This literally costs a third of the ticket price. They're fleecing fans."
Solid scran aside it was a frustrating day at the office for Luton fans, who watched their side succumb to their sixth defeat of the season. Spurs defender Micky van de Ven grabbed the only goal of the game, tapping home from close-range after James Maddison's weaved his way into the box from a short corner.

It was a huge missed opportunity for Luton, who spent 50% of the match with a one man advantage over Tottenham after Yves Bissouma got himself sent off in first half stoppage time. The Ivorian was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card for diving, having been booked for a foul earlier in the match.
The win has taken Tottenham to the top of the Premier League, though they'll be leapfrogged by Manchester City if Pep Guardiola's side beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Luton, meanwhile, have missed the opportunity to move clear of the relegation zone, having taken just four points from their opening eight games.
