The signing just don't stop for Chelsea after the Premier League giants announced three new arrivals at Stamford Bridge.
The west London outfit has become a merry-go-round of personnel since American Todd Boehly bought the club for £4.25billion last year. And that whirlwind approach to recruitment doesn't look likely to end anytime soon after a fresh flurry of new faces were confirmed on Thursday.
However, these latest recruits will be restricted to the boardroom as the Blues revealed president of business Tom Glick has departed after a little more than a year with the team. And among those ready to help fill the void is Casper Stylsvig, who once worked under Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United's sponsorship director.

Stylsvig – who spent two years at Barcelona prior to joining United in 2008, then moved onto Fulham in 2016 – will start work as Chelsea's new chief revenue officer in November. And that job will come with considerable responsibilities considering the west Londoners have splashed more than £1bn on new signing since Boehly took over the club in May last year.
The Dane has spent the past four-and-a-half years operating that same role at AC Milan, who have escalated their commercial prospects considerably during his tenure. The Rossoneri announced record losses of £130million in 2018/19 – Stylsvig's first season at the San Siro – before seeing revenue rise to around £260m in 2021/22, a 14% increase on the previous year.

Those figures speak for themselves in terms of helping drive commercial gains through sponsorships and other investments, which Chelsea will need if they plan to continue living lavishly. Still, the club's extravagant expenditure over the past year hasn't materialised consistency on the field, with Mauricio Pochettino's side having just picked up their second win of the Premier League campaign.
Among the other names set to take office at Stamford Bridge are Jason Gannon, the club's new chief operating officer. Gannon previously worked as managing director of SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and a west coast colossus that will have made him familiar with Boehly's work.

Elsewhere, Adriel Lares will take over as chief financial officer after leaving a San Francisco-based financial firm named Stash. And even the man making those appointments, Chris Jurasek, is still new at Stamford Bridge after joining in the summer.
That crack team of commercial conquistadors will hope to inspire the kind of off-field success that allowed Pochettino to build the best team on the pitch. And Stylsvig's appointment in particular may excite fans given his previous successes in football with Milan and United.
