Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood has been handed his full debut for Getafe.
After joining the La Liga side for the season on Transfer Deadline Day, the 21-year-old forward appeared on a football pitch for the first time since January 2022 when he came off the bench for the final 14 minutes of their 3-2 win against Osasuna earlier this month.
He also made a substitute appearance in a 4-3 defeat away at Real Sociedad at the weekend, playing the last 23 minutes of the match. Manager Jose Bordalas has decided to promote him to the starting XI for their trip to face Athletic Bilbao this evening (September 27).

Greenwood was shipped off to Spain after an internal investigation by Old Trafford chiefs into his dropped charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm concluded he won't play for his boyhood club again.
He remains on the Red Devils' books and they're said to be paying most of his £75,000-a-week wages for Getafe as he looks to get his career back on track on foreign soil.
In their fist six league games of the season, they've picked up seven points. Bilbao, meanwhile have 13 and find themselves fourth in the table heading into tonight's clash.
Greenwood made an instant impact on his debut, winning a corner from which team-mate Nemanja Maksimovic scored to make it 3-2 against Osasuna. He also impressed on the right wing against Sociedad, with Getafe once again scoring after his introduction.
His new club have heavily promoted his arrival in recent weeks, with there being heavy backlash both in Spain and England. He was on the receiving end of "die" chants from the travelling Osasuna fans.
