The term "Barclays" has long-since risen above just the name for the former sponsors of the Premier League – it has come to encapsulate the bizarre and zany world of the English top flight.
Barclays was in full-flow on Monday evening, as Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur knocked ten bells out of each other. There was VAR checks, goals galore, and red cards as the two sides treated viewers to a showcase akin to the Thriller in Manilla.
And Chelsea didn't take their foot of the pedal when they welcomed Manchester City to Stamford Bridge, as Premier League fans hailed the "guaranteed entertainment" from the Blues.

"When Chelsea plays, you are guaranteed entertainment. This only applies to neutral fans tho! For us, it’s an emotional rollercoaster," one fan joked. As a second replied: "Chelsea are carrying the Barclays Product right now with these big games!"
"Insane game. Insane half of football. Chelsea providing entertainment in back to back games, fairs," a third said. And another added: "As a neutral fan, you can’t miss a Chelsea game just 10/10 entertainment!"

Sunday, again, had it all.
There was a controversial penalty decision as Marc Cucurella tugged down Erling Haaland – which the big Norwegian dispatched with ease. And as Thiago Silva nodded Chelsea level the subplot of Raheem Sterling coming back to haunt his former side was starting to show.
And, of course, there were goals, and lots of them. Haaland even managed to score with his, erm, manhood – which was almost ruled out for handball. Rodri provided the icing on the cake with what he thought was a last-minute winner, until ex-City starlet Cole Palmer stepped up from the penalty spot.
It's been a rollercoaster ride for Chelsea fans over the past 18 months – from the dawn of a new era under Todd Boehly to the poor results on the pitch. And all those disappointments at Stamford Bridge have been juxtaposed with millions of pounds spent in the transfer market.
Mauricio Pochettino appears to be the man to get the good times rolling again. Under the Argentine, Chelsea have started to show the kind of form that could have them in the Champions League again.
