Erik ten Hag reportedly made his sorry Manchester United stars listen to Manchester City's celebrations after Sunday's derby.
An Erling Haaland brace helped seal an all-too-easy 3-0 win for City at Old Trafford, condemning United to their fifth Premier League defeat of the season. As punishment for his side's tepid performance, Ten Hag forced the squad to sit in silence and listen to City's team going wild on the other side of the tunnel, according to The Sun.
Plans for a day off on Monday were then swiftly cancelled and players were told they'd be handed extra 'homework', consisting of personalised videos from the game, to study over the coming days.

The dismal defeat was emblematic of United's torrid campaign. There was very little cohesion both on and off the ball, and in truth they were lucky to escape with just three goals conceded.
Speaking after the game, Ten Hag said it was impossible to get his group of players playing the kind of football his old Ajax team used to play. He said: "We will never play that football. Because those were different players. We are playing different football than I showed at Ajax because I have to, because I can't play the same way.

"The players decide how you play. Ajax has a very typical and characteristic style of play, with Manchester United I will always show different football. I did so last year as well. We play much more direct football here because I have the players for that here."
The result leaves United in eighth place in the Premier League, some 11 points behind table-toppers Tottenham and eight points adrift of the top four. Pressure is beginning to mount on Ten Hag, though reports indicate he'll be given time to turn the tide.
