Manchester United produced a stirring fightback to earn a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were stunned in the early stages when Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly gave Forest a 2-0 lead inside the opening four minutes.
Christian Eriksen pulled one back in the first half, before Casemiro brought Erik ten Hag’s side level after half-time.
Forest were reduced to 10-men when captain Joe Worrall was sent off for bringing down Bruno Fernandes, with the Portuguese star then scoring the winner from the penalty spot after Marcus Rashford was adjudged to have been fouled.
Below, Mail Sport’s JACK GAUGHAN outlines some of the things you might have missed from the clash.

Former Man United stars receive retrospective winners medals
Medals look like proving hard to come by around Old Trafford this season but there came a nice touch 20 minutes before kick-off when past players were recognised for their contribution to title victories.
Nineteen former players from 1952 to 1975 have been identified as deserving retrospective league winners’ silverware after the EFL relaxed rules on the number of appearances required to meet the threshold.
David Gaskell and David Sadler had already been presented with their medals earlier in the month, with another 13 bestowed that honour on the pitch ahead of the Nottingham Forest fixture.
Ian McShane, the son of 1952 First Division winner Harry, took the medal on his father’s behalf. The family of Busby Babe Geoff Bent were present to pick theirs up from Sir Alex Ferguson, with Willie Morgan in attendance alongside wife Kay.
Thousands of Man United fans make sit-in Glazer family protest
A few thousand United supporters remained in their seats afterwards for a sit-in protest against the Glazer family as a protracted takeover still staggers on.
More and more moved around to the tunnel area to gather close to the stadium’s singing section – helped over security barriers by stewards – with the majority of their ire aimed at Joel Glazer.

Forest hoping to beat Premier League rivals to Harwood-Bellis
Forest are emerging as frontrunners to land Manchester City’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
The England Under-21 captain, who has not featured competitively since the European Championship final last month, is being tracked by a host of Premier League and Championship clubs.
City are open to selling the central defender after a strong season on loan at Burnley as they secured a return to the top flight under Vincent Kompany.
Forest are looking to steal a march in the pursuit of Harwood-Bellis, who is valued at around £15million.
Fulham and West Ham United are among those to have taken an interest in the City academy graduate during the summer, with Leeds United and Leicester City also credited with interest.

Manchester United’s phone app struggles with Forest’s fast start
United’s phone app could not keep up with the club’s calamitous start.
The push notification for kick-off came as Taiwo Awoniyi sauntered to give Forest an early lead and by the time the app had notified fans of that goal, Willy Boly was scoring a second.

Man United recover from their slowest Premier League start
The three minutes and 47 seconds it took Forest to go two clear is the earliest United have ever trailed by that margin in Premier League history.
Rashford’s return to the left flank boosts Man United’s attack
Erik ten Hag was insistent that United’s defeat at Spurs was a result of a lack of running – and more pertinently a lack of defensive intensity by his attacking trio. He then picked Anthony Martial for this one.
Martial’s inclusion pushed Marcus Rashford out to the left-hand side, his preferred position, and United threatened more for that switch.
Rashford’s direct running opened Forest up and contributed to Christian Eriksen’s goal. Rashford’s assist was his 38th in the league, nudging past Cristiano Ronaldo and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
