Premier League teams have just weeks until they’ll be able to make additions to their squads that will be crucial for their seasons as we move towards January.

There will be huge speculation linking a host of stars with exits – especially at Manchester United – as the futures of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Donny van de Beek grow uncertain.

Elsewhere, Tottenham and Newcastle are expected to be busy in the window as they look to bolster their sides after a spate of injuries.

There will also be eyes on the comings and goings at title contenders Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City ahead of what looks to be a competitive scrap for the Premier League crown.

Tottenham are considering a move for Everton defender Ben Godfrey as they seek cover for injured Mickey van de Ven. The Toffees are open to selling the English star, who has featured just once this season. (talkSport) 

Juventus are likely to back out of signing Jadon Sancho because the Man United winger is too expensive. The Serie A side will instead turn to Domenico Berardi and Shakhtar Donetsk star Georgiy Sudakov. (Tuttosport)

Ferran Torres has not ruled out leaving Barcelona in January, with his future looking more doubtful after club signed Vitor Roque. His relationship with Xavi is not the best and wants to play more games ahead of the Euros. (AS)

Inter Milan and Juventus are frontrunners to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski in January. The Polish star’s contract runs out in the summer but he is refusing to sign an extension – triggering a bidding war between the two. (Corriere dello Sport)
