Manchester United remain undecided over Anthony Martial’s future at the club, with the Frenchman’s contract set to expire next summer.
The Red Devils have endured a turbulent start to their 2023-24 campaign after picking up just four wins from their opening eight matches in the top-flight.
Erik ten Hag’s side also sit bottom of their Champions League group after falling to defeat against both Bayern Munich and Galatasaray in their opening games.
Amid their struggles, Martial has failed to make a significant impact for the Red Devils and has started in just two Premier League games – where he failed to score in both.
Mail Sport can now reveal that the club are keeping their options regarding the forward’s situation and his expiring contract.

The French striker currently has one year left on his £250,000-a-week deal but the club want to bide their time before making a decision over his future.
Martial secured a £36million move to Manchester United from Monaco as a 19-year-old back in 2015 but has failed to hit the heights that had previously been expected.
In his nine seasons at Old Trafford, Martial has made 307 appearances and managed to record 89 goals and 54 assists during that time.
Elsewhere, the club are keen on triggering contract extensions for defensive duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof.
Both players are also on contracts that expire in 2024 and the Red Devils, in response, will look to trigger their contract extensions in the near future.
Wan-Bissaka has particularly impressed under ten Hag and had won a starting place in the United side prior to his injury earlier in the season.
Lindelof has also played a key role for United this term, making seven appearances out of their eight Premier League outings thus far.
The Swede, however, appeared to pick up an injury when he was substituted against Brentford and headed straight down the tunnel in the second half.
United are, however, keen to extend the deals of Aaron Wan-Bissaka (R) and Victor Lindelof (L)
