UFC president Dana White given £400,000 in casino after ‘impossible’ bet

Dana White was gifted a whopping £400,000 by two friends who won the lot during a late-night poker session after the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The UFC CEO was one of many stars present at Formula One's return to Sin City for the first time since 1982 as Max Verstappen claimed his 18th win of the season in the penultimate race of the 2023 campaign. Following the Dutchman's victory, White made his way to a casino alongside ex-NFL star Taylor Lewan and YouTuber SteveWillDoIt, whose real name is Stephen Deleonardis.

It turned out to be a glorious night for the 54-year-old's pals who managed to win £400,000 ($500,000) after starting out with £8,000 ($10,000). But the kicker is that they gifted the entire sum to White – despite his net worth of £400million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Stunned at the gesture, White took to Instagram and posted a video as he said: "I’m here at Red Rocks [casino] right now, it’s f***ing 2:30 in the morning or whatever. Formula 1 just ended, I’m here with Taylor Lewan from 'Bussin with the Boys' on Barstool and Steve Will Do It from the Nelk Boys."

"These two just won a half a million dollars, these are $25,000 chips. Half a million dollars and gave it to me. They are f***ing lunatics. It started with $10,000. These two started with $10,000 and went on a mission to win me a half a million dollars and they did it! It’s f***ing unbelievable."

The UFC chief said their feat was "literally impossible" as he added: "Any of you that really actually gamble, the odds of winning half a million dollars off ten thousand dollars? It’s gotta be a million to one. It’s f***ing impossible. Literally impossible. They did it."

This isn't the first time Deleonardis gifted White an expensive present as back in 2021, he gave the Boston native a custom Maybach van worth an estimated £239,000 ($300,000). In turn, White gave £200,000 ($250,000) to Nelk Boys founder Kyle Forgeard as a birthday present.

Despite the kind gesture, it didn't go down well with the MMA community who pointed out the current UFC pay dispute to fighters. White hit back at his critics during an appearance on The Pat McAfee show as he said: "Let me set this record straight: First of all, all these people on the internet, go f*** yourself." "I spend my money however the f*** I want to spend my money. Mind your own f***ing business, No. 1."
