Chris Tarrant has Tyson Fury spat over claims they had ‘huge row’ at Gleneagles

Former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host Chris Tarrant has rubbished reports he's in a long-standing feud with heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury.

The Gypsy King claimed that he and Tarrant had a "huge row" after bumping into each other at the luxurious Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland a few years back, but Tarrant insists they've never actually spoken to one another.

Fury made the claim on his new Netflix show, At Home With the Furys, in which cameras follow the 35-year-old and his family around as they go about their everyday lives.

After planning a trip to Gleneagles with his wife Paris, Tyson said: "I had a big row with Chris Tarrant the last time I was there," but the 76-year-old TV star hit back by branding the story "nonsense".

"It is complete nonsense, I've never even met him," Tarrant insisted. "My wife and I got into a crowded lift with Tyson in it, we didn't even speak and I got out at the next floor.

"There was no row; not a word was exchanged and we never saw him again!"

Tarrant went on to say that he admires Fury's boxing legacy, but that any suggestions the two were feuding with each other were "absolute rubbish."

At Home With The Furys, which contains nine episodes between 30 and 45 minutes long, was released last week and has been garnering generally positive reviews.

The docu-series follows Fury and family around, but mainly focuses on the Gypsy King's decision to retire from boxing as he embraces family life.

Undefeated Fury hung up his gloves in December last year after beating Derek Chisora. It was his 33rd victory from 34 professional fights, and his 24th via knockout.
