Brock Lesnar may not be the last of his family to impress in the world of sport.

The former amateur wrestling king and NFL prospect has forged a career across multiple disciplines, earning a UFC championship and conquering WWE, where he is a 10-time world champion. But daughter Mya Lynn is the new kid on the block, earning a plethora of attention for her own athletic exploits.

Mya is an up-and-comer in the world of track and field who boasts a particular knack for the shot-put. And sports fans can't quite believe just how much the 21-year-old resembles her old man – known for his freakishly strong 6ft 3in, near 300lb physique.

It seems the Lesnar genes are strong in more ways than one, with 'The Beast Incarnate' passing down more than just fast-twitch muscle fibre. Mya also shares the same pale blonde locks as her dad, not to mention bearing more than a passing resemblance facially.

And while Lesnar made strides in wrestling as a high school and college athlete, his prodigious offspring is making strides with a ball in hand. And her weapon of choice is a four-kilogram metal sphere, which she's capable of hoisting over record distances.

Who makes up the greatest family of all time? Let us know in the comments section below.

Mya recently displayed that talent when opening the new indoor season at Colorado State, where she threw a school record in her discipline to get the ball rolling in style. The prospect wrote she was happy with her opener (and understandably so) after throwing for 18.50 metres to also set a new personal best.

To put that number into context, it's almost two metres more than Lesnar managed at the most recent NCAA Championships. And that's after her performances last season were enough to earn a place in the All-Mountain West line-up – effectively the 'all-star' team for Colorado State's conference.

Brock, 46, has been married to fellow WWE alumnus Sable (real name Rena) since 2006, but Mya – who previously competed for Arizona State – was born from his previous engagement to Nicole McClain. The rising athlete also has a twin brother named Luke.

As if her shot-put feats weren't impressive enough, Mya isn't restricting herself and also competes in the hammer, discus and weight throw, winning the Mountain West Championship in the latter last season. And while she may not compete on the mat at present, it seems all but inevitable she'll be encouraged to follow her father into wrestling once her college days are done.
