Every Premier League club’s worst-ever opponent has been revealed and there’s not much surprise in one Manchester United legend who dominates the tally.

All clubs across the country will feel as though they have a bogey team and ask any fan and they’ll likely have one name that springs to mind regarding who their bogey player to face is. And an indisputable list has now been revealed confirming every Premier League fan’s most feared rival and here at Daily Star Sport, we couldn’t help but delve into it.

One name in particular dominates the list and unsurprisingly it's Manchester United’s all-time appearance holder Ryan Giggs, who played 632 games in the Premier League across 21 years, lifting 13 titles in the process. Giggs’ longevity and United’s success under Sir Alex Ferguson with him in the side, sees the Welshman appear seven times on the list of current top-flight sides – including a whopping 20 wins over arch-rivals Liverpool.

Giggs is also the solely most feared opponent of five other former Premier League teams including Charlton Athletic, Coventry City, Middlesbrough, QPR and Southampton.

But the recent dominance of Manchester City is also very telling on the list, with the Blues boasting current and former players against the clubs who have been promoted to the top-flight more recently.

The inclusion of Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne shows the shift in power in England in recent years, as does that of James Milner, who perhaps is an obvious inclusion given he ranks third in the all-time Premier League appearances list and was also a key part of Jurgen Klopp's all-conquering Liverpool side. The Yorkshire veteran is the nemesis of Manchester United – no surprise given he's also played for their hated foes Leeds.

Some might be surprised to see Milner's former team-mate Jordan Henderson also included. Despite captaining the Reds' most successful Premier League era team, the now Saudi-based midfielder isn’t perhaps the first name from that squad of stars who would spring to mind. However, the most eye-catching name of all has to be Newcastle United defender and former Brighton & Hove Albion man, Dan Burn.
