Ivan Toney has been snapped sporting a new haircut after he was snapped returning to Brentford training following his betting ban.

Toney was banned from all football related activities for eight months back in May, after he admitted to the alleged breaches. However, the 27-year-old has been training with Brentford for nearly two months, after striking a deal with the FA.

A statement from Brentford read: "Ivan Toney was given dispensation by the Football Association to attend club premises during his suspension from football-related activity for rehabilitation work after he suffered a hamstring injury that caused him to miss matches in May."

Toney could leave the Bees come January – before he can make his return to football – with the Daily Mirror reporting Brentford would accept a bid in the region of £60million for the striker.

Arsenal are believed to be interested in the forward, with Mikel Arteta a big fan of Toney. The 27-year-old will be eligible to return to competition after January 17, 2024, once his ban for gambling offences is over.

The 6ft 1in frontman has 68 goals in 124 appearances for Brentford, and has netted 27 out of 29 penalties in his professional career.
