Fans distracted by Tyson Fury’s ‘third leg’ as boxing champ returns to training

Boxing fans didn’t know where to look as Tyson Fury returned to training ahead of his showdown with Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury is back in the gym following his narrow split decision win over former UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. After being accused of taking Ngannou for granted, Fury cannot afford to leave a stone unturned as he prepares to face off against fellow world champion Usyk, who boasts back-to-back victories over Anthony Joshua.

However, fans were struggling to focus on the Usyk fight after one of Fury’s sparring partners, Thomas Carty, posted a picture of himself with the Gypsy King. The gaze of followers was quickly directed towards a rather significant bulge in Fury’s shorts.

Fury has already started unleashing the verbals ahead of the February 17 showdown in Riyadh. During the press conference to confirm fight, Fury told Usyk: “I’m going to bust him up. Sausage. Ugly little man. Rabbit. Run rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run.

“You know what’s coming? You’re getting smashed to pieces, sausage. You’re fighting the best British heavyweight there’s ever been.

“You’ve beaten the rest of them, but you haven’t beaten Tyson Fury, sausage. You can never beat me. If you beat me in your dreams you better wake up and apologise. I stole that from Muhammad Ali, I apologise.

“When you sleep at night ugly man you’re going to think of me for the next eight weeks. I’m going to punch your face in. You ugly little man.”
